Hey team! Just wanted to say thank you for such a well organised and enjoyable event. The marshals were AMAZING! Specially the lovely ladies at the little drink tent at the finish line. This was my first time at this event and after such a good experience I will most defiantly be returning next year. Thanks you!

Hello congratulations on another excellent event. I really enjoyed the ride. The road conditions were the best I have come across in many other events especially on the final run home from Stratford on SH3. I think the wider shoulder made a huge difference to rider comfort, confidence and safety and traffic seemed to benefit as well. I felt that rider behaviour was very good. I did not see too many "dick moves". The Marshalling and aid station teams were top rate. Enthusiastic and helpful. The after event function was excellent as usual and the opportunity to take a rest under the shady trees was appreciated. The event is excellent value for money the food and drink prices reasonable and portions generous. We will be back again next year.

Wow - Well Done the 'Naki, great race and great people. first time for me this year but I simply have to return...at least to attempt beating my rather ho-hum finish time, and also to redeem my promise to the fantastic lady from Wellington (name unknown) who pulled me out of the false flat Opunaki doldrums with some kind words...promised to stay together through to the finish, then I left her with 30ks to go jumping on with the next passing group...sorry, definitely owing her a glass of our quality Wairarapa wine!

Hello Selwyn and Gayle. I just wish to acknowledge the success of your event. It was my first participation and I thoroughly enjoyed the day. The atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable, locals very friendly and supportive. The course, although not overly tough, was made challenging by the speed at which the ride was ridden. I will spread the word and hopefully get some more of those Aucklanders down for next year's event. Thank you. Regards Allan.

Great race this year, the weather was perfect. Thanks to all the Marshalls and volunteers at the finish. The mountain was just perfect when we made the turn from Opunake.

always the best fun ride I go to , has the best race pack wth a drink bottle that no ones offering any more, and a meal ticket :) ... new course bypassing Stratford a bit harder but way safer , really enjoyed today THANKS
